Catalent Pharma Solutions Blow/Fill/Seal Technician in Woodstock, Illinois
Catalent is looking to recruit a Blow/Fill/Seal (BFS) Technician to join a growing team at our site in Woodstock, IL.
The BFS Technician will be instrumental in ensuring that the aseptic processes in Operations are fully supported to the required standard and that essential equipment maintenance schedules are upheld.

Learn basic BFS theory and process overview including: start-up and shutdown of BFS instrumentation, media fill batches, line clearance, filter integrity test methods, temperature recorders, and machine & tank sterilization
Read batch record instructions and set-up drawings
Comply with all controlled documentation and cGMPs as they pertain to production
Certify in aseptic gowning performance
Inspect product for defects and package product on packaging line
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety requirements specified in controlled documentation and equipment manuals
High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification a plus (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
Minimum of 1 year experience with hydraulic or pneumatic machines (i.e. injection molding or aseptic filling)
Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair
Knowledge of clean room procedures is highly desirable
Excellent documentation skills, strong communication skills, and an eye for detail
The BFS Technician must be able work our D-Shift schedule which is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday from 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
