Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting
The Corporate accounting group is a function within Finance that has overall responsibility for accurate and timely financial reporting to the Controllership group. The primary responsibility of the group is to support the monthly close process and any ad hoc special projects that may arise. The Accountant will report to the Manager of Corporate Accounting and will be a key resource in current and future processes.
The Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting maintains and supports Concur (T&E/P-card) Global System, includes audit and monthly JE. Responsible processing multiple bi-weekly corporate payroll journal entries and intercompany payroll funding with domestic sites. And assist and support Accounts Payable with invoice follow ups; working with shared services and corporate business partners to ensure accurate approval and on time process of invoices.
The Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.

efforts toward continuous improvement of our processes & information which will
allow quality drug products to reach patients safely and efficiently.
The Role (daily responsibilities)
Maintains and supports Concur (T&E/P-card) Global System; maintains GL account codes, cost centers, setting up new user accounts and terminations of accounts; Ensures all compliance wire requirements are satisfied before issuing Concur and Amex account.
Adjust credit limits and maintain daily Amex balances.
Review and audit selected Concur reports ensuring they are compliant with company T&E policy and procedures; weekly follow up with un-submitted/unassigned delinquent accounts.
Prepare weekly Concur reports for procurement dashboard and distribute intercompany cross charges to sites. Prepare monthly T&E expense, accruals, intercompany transactions and bank clearing journal entries; Prepare and identify all reconciling items for responsible balance sheet accounts; reconciliations are clearly noted and resolved on a timely basis.
Assist and support Accounts Payable with invoice follow ups; working with shared services and corporate business partners to ensure accurate approval and on time process of invoices.
Assist and support escheatment process with working with shared services and corporate business partners to ensure accurate reporting.
Maintain all records and accounting entries for efficient subsequent retrieval during audit or other activities requiring research into historical transaction records for all entities.
Assist with any other month end close related items; complete inter-company accounts and perform inter-company reconciliations on a monthly basis.
The Candidate (requirements)
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details are critical
Ability to work across various areas of the business, including effective communication with people of different backgrounds and levels
Must be well organized with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously
Ability to deal with matters that carry a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written skills, able to present to the highest level
Confident, proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, quick thinking, goal, results oriented
Expertise in Microsoft Excel (proficiency required) and JDE & HFM experience a plus.
