The CNC Manager will work with the Catalent business community and the IT organization to provide a high availability platform for Catalent Pharma Solutions’ JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning environment (XE and 9.1 versions).
The CNC Manager will lead a team of technical resources to support, maintain, enhance and optimize multiple JDE environments and associated third-party applications. Work with the respective organizational personnel to determine required system resources, hardware, and software necessary to maintain the required environments. Manage all maintenance and update activities in compliance with all Computer Systems Validation and Quality policies and procedures, ethics and security requirements.
The CNC Manager reports to the ERP Operations Manager

allow quality drug products to reach patients safely and efficiently.
The Role (daily responsibilities)
CNC manager will manage all application operations for a JDE Enterpriseone 9.1 and XE ERP environments. Ensures acceptable levels of performance, reliability, and availability of these applications and supporting systems. Establishes, monitors, and communicates actual performance results of relevant Service Level Agreements.
Manage and Maintain day-to-day system support, database administration, server administration, security management, and package build and deployment activities.
Works with third-party partners to optimize system performance and hosting support services including web server management, database monitoring, and database management. Monitors vendor’s adherence to established SLAs. Ensures that required maintenance activities such as environment refreshes, installation of software patches, purging of systems logs, etc. are completed within estimated maintenance windows.
Leads Service Recovery Team (SRT) process and performs root cause analysis for system outages and issues
Manages the configuration, usage, and update of JD Edwards Security leveraging the AllOut Security tool. Provides reporting on user and system access and security change requests
Periodically reviews overall system capacity, capabilities, and architecture to help ensure that the system can adequately accommodate planned growth at established service levels. Works with software vendors to understand current/future version requirements and develops plans to upgrade to ensure continued support
Coordinates activities with the Infrastructure team.
Perform system performance monitoring, usage tracking analysis, and trending, to understand utilization and ensure that the existing infrastructure is capable of supporting ongoing growth.
The Candidate (requirements)
8+ years’ experience in supporting JD Edwards systems and solutions
Managed the technical support team for JDE Enterpriseone ERP in a regulated environment or led the technical work stream for a JDE Enterpriseone ERP implementation
Occasional after hour/Weekend work
Once a month participate in System maintenance work on weekends
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
