Catalent Pharma Solutions Process Operator in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Position Summary:

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Malvern, PA is hiring a Process Operator. In this role you will mill powders (or chemicals) to break down active pharmaceutical ingredients into proper size so that lifesaving medicines for asthma, cancer, high cholesterol, and more can be more readily absorbed by the body. The Process Operator consistently models Catalent’s values and leadership behaviors in all interactions.

This is a 2nd shift 1:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Thursday

The Role

  • Assembly, operation, and general maintenance of milling equipment.

  • Cleaning of the entire processing area and processing equipment.

  • Execution of batch record requirements and instructions including documentation of all required entries and non-conformance issues during processing.

  • Thorough & consistent documentation techniques following data integrity principles.

  • Carry out all duties in line with the procedures and policies set forth by Catalent Micron.

  • All other duties as assigned;

The Candidate

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED; Technical school graduate is preferred.

  • Prior related experience in a similar environment strongly preferred - Prior production experience a plus.

  • Must be reliable, dependable, and motivated.

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail desired.

  • Ability to perform moderate physical labor including lifting, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and twisting.

  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day and occasionally lift 44 pounds.

  • Ability to wear a loose fitting supplied air or PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) system (not tight fitting) and pass the required respiratory medical exam.

  • Ability to work in loud environments and wear various types of hearing protection.

  • Ability to work with chemicals or hazardous material safely where each employee is provided with personal protective equipment.
