Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Warehouse Associate II. In coordination with Operations and Supply Chain, the Warehouse Associate II will accurately inspect, receive, deplete, manage, and ship inventory for commercial operations. Work toward becoming the SME for Storage and Distribution of Development and Analytical Solutions. Provide support to the material management groups and quality assurance.

This is a full-time position: Monday – Thursday: 12PM-10:30PM

The Role

• Receive product into inventory

• Stage supplies for the Manufacturing groups

• Perform monthly inventory checks to ensure accurate inventory levels and correct placement of inventory

• Works with production teams to ensure that goals are being met

• Focuses on driving productivity improvements through 5S, Lean and other process improvement tools, while maintaining high quality standards

• Drives reductions in unplanned deviations and focuses on improving first pass quality

• Ensures proper documentation of all batch documents and review and approval of steps performed by other operators

• Supports customer requests as needed

• Perform other duties as needed

The Candidate

• High school diploma

• The minimum level of total work-related experience required to perform the job’s responsibility is 2 years of inventory management experience (or applicable experience in a warehouse environment)

• Forklift Certification

• Thorough knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA guidelines and how to apply them effectively is preferred

• Communicates clearly with internal and external clients, both verbal and written

• Will frequently be required to stand or walk
