Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Supervisor, Label Services. The Supervisor, Label Services oversee the daily activities of the Label Design and Label control teams. This role provides oversight and assistance with investigations related to the Label Services group as well as CAPA identification and closure.
This is a full-time position: Onsite. Monday – Friday, 1st Shift Days.

The Role
Oversee the daily activities of the Label Design and Label control teams. Sets priorities for the group to ensure task completion and coordinates activities with other departments
Understands the daily, weekly and monthly schedule for the Label Services group
Have knowledge of the Label Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMPs)
Provides oversight and assistance with investigations related to the Label Services group (deviations and complaints) as well as CAPA identification and closure
Responsible for the identification, investigation and improvement of Safety Concerns or Events (as assigned) for the Label Services Group. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource or operational challenges
Maintains and holds regular tier 1 meetings with the label services team. Data collection to track daily, weekly and monthly metrics
Manage and approve the HR related items for direct employees (WorkDay). Perform quarterly, semi-annual and annual reviews. Accountable for overall training compliance of the Label Services group
Responsible for ensuring resources are available for participation in Continuous Improvement activities
All other duties as assigned;
The Candidate
Required a High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 2 years of people management experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 2 years of people management experience
Technical writing experience such as controlled documents (SOPs, BRs, WIs) in a GxP environment is highly desired
Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement experience is a nice to have
Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead others while working alongside them to complete tasks to reach organizational goals highly desired
Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer required
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Occasional requirement to work in cold environment to fill orders (walk-in refrigerator/freezer)
