Summary

  • Catalent is looking to recruit a Maintenance & Planning Supervisor to join a growing team in Brazil.

The Maintenance & Planning Supervisor is responsible for ensure continuous improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance, using as a management tool the best practices in maintenance planning and control, cost management, failure analysis and continuous improvement.Act proactively and guide the team in the aspects of Work Safety and Environment.To be the link between the operational team and the company leadership team, always having in mind the good quality of the interpersonal relationship.

The Role

The responsibilities are:

  • Lead the Maintenance team of Electrical, Utilities, Civil, Facilites and Maintenance Planning and Control;* Responsible for the execution of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance in electrical systems, HVACs, water treatment, vacuum systems, effluent treatment plant, hot water and electric generators, artesian wells, exhaust systems, air compressors, systems cold water, water pumps, artesian wells and civil maintenance in the administrative areas and laboratories;* Ensure the execution of the weekly schedule of activities through the analysis and selection of preventive and pending plans through the management of the maintenance system and risk communications;* Support the project team in the implementation and start-up of facilities and reforms in their area of ​​responsibility;* Analyze the equipment failures occurring in the area of ​​your responsibility and propose actions to remedy such anomalies, using tools such as Fault Analysis Report, RCM, Pareto, etc ;* Support the execution of Kaizen works aiming at reducing costs, movements, unnecessary transport, etc;* Identify, analyze and specify repair services in equipment, machining and work of third parties, ensuring quality of service performed at the lowest possible cost;

  • In conjunction with the Maintenance Planner to manage the need to send equipment for external repair, informing the scope of the service, possible suppliers and deadline of the equipment;

  • Evaluate the need for spare parts in your area in the maintenance warehouse, focusing on the minimum stock of safety equipment, the perfect organization of the area and accuracy of the stock;

  • Plan, forecast and control the maintenance costs in your area, and be responsible for informing the maintenance team manager of unforeseen expenses and possible budget "overflows";

  • Prepare work instructions and create Operational and / or Safety Procedures relevant to your area of ​​activity;

  • Train all roles in Operational and Safety Procedures;*Manage the activities related to the NR-10 standards.

The Candidate

  • Advanced English.

  • Bachelor´s Degree in electrical Engineering.

  • Previous experience in leadership of operational teams, maintenance and electrical installations. Knowledge in utilities and maintenance planning. Desirable knowledge in cost management, scheduling and project management. Experience in pharmaceutical companies is a plus.

  • Knowledge in Electrical installations, NR-10 certification, compressors, chillers, air conditioning systems, civil maintenance, operation of Effluent Treatment Stations, drinking water.
