Catalent Pharma Solutions Supervisor, IT Service Delivery in Harmans, Maryland

The IT Service Delivery Supervisor will be responsible for managing the team that ensures client-related technical issues are resolved in a quick and proper manner. This position will require significant interaction with internal clients, IT associates, and third-party service providers. The position requires a strong bias toward service, quality, customer satisfaction, mentorship, training, and leadership.

The role:

  • Manages day-to-day scheduling and prioritization for field service team members.

  • Mentor and develop team members, conduct team meetings as needed.

  • Understands technology issues and provide solutions based on proven methods.

  • Researches, evaluates, and provides technical solutions to address defined business requirements.

  • Identifies alternatives and presents recommendations that meet user needs and comply with established standards.

  • Interacts with clients to process service requests or resolve technical problems.

  • Replaces and rebuilds hardware components as needed.

  • Installs/removes/configures software applications.

  • User account administration.

  • Procurement in accordance with corporate guidelines.

The candidate:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • IT industry standard certification is desired.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant direct IT technical support experience.

  • Work experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or laboratory environment is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Service-oriented attitude (flexible, personable, approachable)

  • Demonstrated Leadership skills and experience. Leads by example, keeps in mind organizational values, policies and goals. Develops and coaches team members.

The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $95,000-$128,000 plus an annual bonus target. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
