Pharmaceutical Technician I, Oral Solid Dosage

Position Summary

Pharmaceutical Technician I, is responsible for cleaning equipment as well as dispensing, sifting and blending of good manufacturing practice (GMP) commercial batches in an oral solid dosage (OSD) environment. The Pharmaceutical Technician I will also assist with the assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and storage of manufacturing equipment.

Second Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4 PM – 2:30 AM

The Role

  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation is maintained for all manufacturing batches

  • Assist with the assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and storage of manufacturing equipment

  • Learn and exhibit proficiency with manufacturing processes to include, but not limited to, dispensing, sifting and blending commercial batches

  • With close oversight, operate equipment needed to dispense and sift scale-up, bio-batches, full commercial scale batches, and CTM batches

  • Ensure all batch records and logbook entries are accurately documented and compliant with SOPs and FDA cGMP guidelines

  • Assist with setup, manufacturing, and changeovers with adherence to SOPs and safety requirements

  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1+ years of experience with compression in a GMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment required

  • Experience with dispensing, encapsulation, and granulation is preferred, but not required

  • Required to obtain internal forklift operation certification

  • This position requires you to wear a respirator for your safety, and as such, employment is contingent upon you being able to complete a medical evaluation with satisfactory results prior to the start of your employment.
