Senior Engineer - CAPEX

The Senior Engineer, CAPEX assists in the delivery of CAPEX projects site wide, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. This role will be heavily focused on change controls and will include commissioning and decommissioning of equipment.

This is a fulltime role working days; Monday – Friday

There is a $10,000 sign on for this role.

The Role

• Manages the change controls function in support of active capital projects

• Assists in the project management execution to commission and decommission manufacturing equipment, facilities, laboratories and building as needed to meet business needs

• Partners proactively and aligns with key internal customers to develop and execute capital projects that support business objectives

• Partners proactively with other group/function managers with strategic partners to support business objectives, streamline business processes impacting project planning/execution, and implement business process changes

• Support Manufacturing and/or Facilities personnel in trouble-shooting problems in the operation of pharmaceutical and industrial manufacturing facility systems and equipment

• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or appropriate scientific discipline, required

• Master’s degree, preferred

• PE / Registered Engineer in training, preferred

• OSHA/IOSH/NeBOSH Certification or equivalent, preferred

• 5+ years Project Engineering relevant experience to include change controls

• 2+ years in a regulated industry (Life Sciences, preferred)

• Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
